This boutique-style winery nestled in the heart of Historic Downtown McAlester is located within the former home of Newton’s Jewelry Store built in 1901. With curved glass windows & artwork painted by local artists, it is a must-see stop in this beautiful region of Oklahoma. Whispering Meadows Winery features its award-winning wines, cheeses, gourmet food items, and home décor in the gift shop. You won't want to miss your chance to taste the fantastic "Wines from the Heartland" at Whispering Meadows, a true “Jewel of Southeastern Oklahoma.” Customer's favorite wines include the Muscato, Sweet red and the dry Italian Barrolo. Group tours are available with wine tasting and souvenir wine glass for $15/person. Days/Hours: Tues-Sat 11am-6pm.
