Scissortail Brewing Company

Scissortail Brewing Company is a locally owned, independent craft brewery.After several years revitalizing the historic RV Myers building, originally built in 1912 and located at 623 E Don Tyler Ave in Dewey, OK, Scissortail Brewing Company opened the doors to their taproom on January 22, 2021.

Brewing is a long time hobby for James Pinney, who is the brewer and co-owner with his wife, Sue. He has been brewing over 25 years and they both thought a craft brewery would be good fit for Dewey in the current market.Sue notes, “We were searching for the right building and the right location and Dewey had both requirements. We love Dewey and the area has been very supportive of our endeavor.”
