Pioneer Museum

The Kendal Log Cabin, The Roll One Room School House & the Main Pioneer Museum Building all make up this wonderful treasure called the Pioneer Museum in Cheyenne City Park. In the Main Pioneer Building, one room is dedicated to farming & agricultural history featuring milking & dairy farm displays as well as tools, tractors, farm equipment & even a 100 year old grain wagon! The Roll One Room School House is one of the original 101 schools that were located in the Roger Mills County area around 1910. Field trips & Group trips can be arranged to receive a "Living History" day in the old school house. The Museum assists with Pioneer Days the first weekend after Labor Day in September. During the celebration guests can enjoy a petting zoo, wagon rides, a farmers market & other events. Call ahead for availability.
