Quartz Mountain Wines

Located in the adorable downtown strip of Altus, Quartz Mountain Wines opened its doors in February 2025 and quickly has become a favorite place amongst locals. The space is gorgeous with old vaulted ceilings, family made ceramics, soaps and candles, a cozy lounge area, bright and beautiful patio, a glazed wooden bar top, and a hand painted grapevine extending across one of the walls. You can sit down at the bar and enjoy a small tasting of the vast variety of wines Quartz Mountain has to offer before you commit to a glass. The wines range from sweet to dry with different flavors and combinations for everyone. Small prepackaged snacks are offered as well as a few local beers, domestics, and non-alcoholic beverages for those who prefer other options. Live music and events are popular--especially a Wednesday night "unwind" night featuring yoga and a glass of wine. This is definitely a can't miss location on your next journey southwest!
