Hinton Historical Museum

This two-story pink (wood frame) farm house is located next to a 25,000 square foot, two-story barn that houses items depicting local & state history & demonstrates how people lived from the late 1800s forward. Artifacts include Oklahoma's largest buggy & barbed wire collections, home furnishings, clothing, photographs, seven antique cars from a 1903 Olds to Model Ts & an Edsel, bicycles from 1870s highwheel to '30s through '60s, antique phones & switchboard, radios, Indian ceremonial items & more. Hours of Operation: Monday through Saturday 10am to 4pm.

From I-40 go S. on U.S. Hwy 281, 4 mi. to Hinton. At the four-way stop in Hinton continue S. The museum sits on the E. side of the rd.
