Will Rogers Birthplace (Dog Iron Ranch)
Site of the log-walled, 2-story home where famed Cherokee humorist & film star Will Rogers was born in 1879. Guests can roam the home & 400-acre grounds, pet farm animals & view vintage Rogers' movies & newsreels in the air-conditioned barn. A bronze statue of Rogers can be viewed on the property and there are walking trails to enjoy. Donations appreciated. Group tours can be customized with advance notice. Ten RV hookups are located on-site. Free admission, handicap accessible, meeting room, tour bus parking, guided tours. Days/Hours: Open daily, 10am-5pm.
