Kiamichi Retreat

Miller Lake Retreat – just the name sounds like a great getaway! This working ranch is a great destination away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Don’t let the ranch work scare you off. This end-of-the-road ranch of 130 acres is nestled in the Kiamichi Mountains.

Guests stay in a luxurious cottage and enjoy exclusive use of the property with activities such as fishing, canoeing and hiking. Trails lead down to the Kiamichi River that runs a mile along the property. The cottage has a full kitchen, dining table for six and room for six with two queen-size suites including full baths. The cottage is wheelchair accessible.

The ranch is home to a small herd of bison, a few cattle, horses, chickens and some farm dogs. Being in the mountains, there are lots of wildlife to see including beaver, otters, herons, bald eagles, coyotes, wild hogs, hawks, turkeys, migratory birds and white-tail deer.
